Mark Your Calendar!​ Our meetings are held on the third Monday, of each month (except June-August) at 1PM at the Desert Vista Community Center. A typical meeting includes an informative presentation, short business meeting, a display of recent artworks by members, refreshments and raffles!

Paint a Story! At our MAY meeting, the Sun City Writers Club, presented us with more poems or stories (as they did in March). Art Club Members are invited to create artworks that relate to these poems/stories and present their completed works at the September meeting to receive a $25 Dick Blick Gift Card! These works will be featured at the November Annual Fine Art Show.

2025 Fine Art Show​:​​ The 2025 Annual Fine Art Show will be held November 1st & 2nd. Mark your calendar and tell your friends! The Flyer is available to post on your social media! Gerry Jensen is looking for help with raffles. Click Here to ask questions or volunteer.

Short Term / Summer Classes & Get Togethers
Throughout the summer, check with instructors, (their contact information is on the classes page) as summer schedules will vary.
Some free painting/drawing sessions are planned in the multi-purpose room. These sessions do not have an instructor:

A Figure Drawing session Mondays, from 9 to 11:00, starting 6/2/2025 (Continuation depends of whether we identify additional models). The models will be dressed in regular street clothes or costumes.

A Fast & Loose painting practice on Wednesdays 9:30 to 11:30. These sessions will provide a you-tube video tutorial, which members can paint along with.​

Drawing Class by Carol Johnson will continue through June 13th. Details. Video!
Volunteer Opportunities: If you would like to help at meetings, at the art show, help members enter or transport their paintings, help with the website, bring cookies, showcase your talents, (etc.!), please reach out! Volunteers are treasured!​
